Known for his unmistakable voice and sentimental lyrics, Leo Dan has experienced great success in Mexico and Ecuador. A composer, singer, actor, politician and television host — these are just some of the things for which Leo Dan is loved and recognized. From a very young age, he expressed his taste for music and composition. At the age of 20, he achieved his first contract with CBS in Buenos Aires. His song “Celia” was the first by which he made himself known. It placed him quickly at No. 1 on radio in Argentina. This song was followed by hits like “Fanny”, “Por un Caminito”, “Only Once” and “What Does the Girl”, among many others.
Palito Ortega studied the drums and guitar, and he imitated his idol at the time, Elvis Presley. When his first songs were born, they launched his career as a composer. This gave him the chance to write with other musicians like Dino Ramos, with whom he achieved some great successes that are recognized internationally, including “Taste Nothing,” “The Same As You” and “Dressed As A Bride,” plus many more.
